I visited Sri Lanka again in July and have uploaded some photos to Flickr. Check them out here. On this trip I visited Colombo, Beruwela, Kitulgala, Kandy, Dambulla, Trincomalee and Jaffna.

I came across this blog recently, by a Sri Lankan journalist/photographer named Dushiyanthini. She takes a very personal approach with it, something few people seem to do. Her photos are great, they often include descriptions of the subjects and the lives they live. Her site is a good window into the daily lives of ordinary Sri Lankans, particularly how people in different parts of the country

Click above to see photos of the Barberyn Reef resort in Beruwela, Sri Lanka.As you can see from the pictures on their site, the resort was hit very hard by the tsunami; they're now in the process of rebuilding. Beruwela has beautiful coasts and there are a few other hotels and resorts in the area. It's a good place to spend some time if you're visiting Sri Lanka.
